Aramis Ramirez left the yard and had 5 RBI as the Jefferson Park Penguins
defeated the North Dallas Fire Ants by a score of 7 to 4 at the
ballpark.
Ramirez had a good day at the plate. He lined a one-base hit which scored a
run in the 3rd inning, laced a single knocking in a run in the 4th inning and
cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 14th of the season) in the 6th
inning. Jefferson Park ended up with 13 hits for the game while North Dallas
had 10.
The win was credited to Brandon Webb(13-5) who went 7 innings allowing 2 runs.
Joey Devine earned his 3rd save. Matt Garza(13-5) suffered the loss. He was
touched for 12 hits and 5 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
